Farm Business Management & Finance
About This Program
This 4-week program transforms subsistence farmers into agri-entrepreneurs. Participants learn essential business skills including financial record keeping, budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, grant and loan applications, and cooperative formation. The 2026 inaugural session features a groundbreaking collaboration with Presbyterian University Agribusiness students who will travel to Assutuare — a rice farming community — to train the younger generation on organizing farmer training programs. Under the guidance of Farm to the World board members, these students will listen directly to the challenges farmers face in the field and apply their academic knowledge to develop practical, community-driven solutions.
